Johannesburg - A woman accused of killing her
boyfriend after he apparently spoke to prostitutes
appeared in the Groblersdal Magistrate's Court on
Monday, Limpopo police said.
Joyce Mokone, 25, would remain in custody and be
back in court on 6 January to apply for bail, police
spokesperson Lethunya Mmuroa said.
Mokone allegedly stabbed her boyfriend Odies
Maleka, 22, with a knife at a tavern in Marble Hall
on 25 December. He died on the scene.
"She was accusing him of talking to girls known to
her as prostitutes," Mmuroa said.
She was arrested at the scene of the crime.
