The Authorities of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife,
hereby announce the resumption of academic activities for the
continuation of the 2014/2015 harmattan semester. Students of the
university are hereby informed.
It would be recalled that the university had ordered all students to vacate the campus since July 12 in an unusual manner as the university has never before gone on such a break in the middle of a semester. It is however believed that the sudden mid semester break is not unconnected with the severe protest staged by the Non-Academic Staff of the University over unpaid allowances.
All students should note that lectures resume on Tuesday, 21st July, 2015 according to the release signed by the University Registrar, D.O. Awoyemi
The university authorities wish all students journey mercies as they return to the university.
