If from the point when Huawei took the wraps off the Honor 7 you've been wondering whether it will ever come to Europe, wonder no more. It will.
Huawei itself confirmed the fact that it's getting ready to sell the Honor 7 in European markets. The Chinese smartphone maker has chosen the avenue of a short promo video for this announcement.
The Honor 7 got official in China at the end of June, and so far we haven't had any confirmed reports about it going on sale elsewhere in the future. That said, previous Honor handsets did make it out of China, so this move isn't unexpected at all.
Unfortunately Huawei decided not to give us any information about an actual release date or pricing for the Honor 7 in Europe. In China it starts at around €295, with 16GB of storage.
The Honor 7 is made from a unibody aluminum alloy shell. It has a 5.2-inch 1080p touchscreen, 3GB of RAM, a 20 MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus and dual-LED dual-tone flash, an 8 MP selfie shooter, a fingerprint sensor, and a 3,100 mAh battery.
The phone is powered by Huawei's own Kirin 935 chipset, boasting an octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU and a Mali-T628 GPU. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop, with Emotion UI 3.1 on top.
