Ras Kimono, Orits Wiliki, Jimmy Jatt, 2face, Iya Iwero, others receive footprints in Gold in the Legendary Show

Some eminent Nigerians were honoured at the recently concluded filming of a weekly television talk show titled The Legendary Show as their footprints were turned into gold and given to them in recognition of their contributions to the industry.
Reggae legends Ras Kimono, Orits Wiliki; Disc jockey maestro Jimmy Jatt, Afro-pop king, Innocent Tuface Idibia; Nollywood actress, Iya Awero, kid star, Ozy Busco, among others were among the legends celebrated at the maiden edition of The Legendary Show.
Poised to become the first television talk show in Africa to perform such feat, The Legendary Show also featured performances from the artistes, sizzling interview sessions, footbaths and recognition awards presentation and will be on local television stations soon.
The legends cut across all sectors of the society, some of which include music, movies, literature, sports, politics and artistry and grouped into five categories, namely Perennial Legends, Today’s Legends, Next Generation Legends and Kid Legends. Honoured in this first season are Fela Kuti, Rasheed Yekini, Femi Kuti, Jimi Solanke, Segun Odegbami, Ebenezer Obey, Orits Wiliki, Tuface, Dagrin, Ozy Busco, Amarachi, and 13 others in all five categories. Every legend gets to stamp his or her footprint and has it made in gold as the award that he or she takes home after the show. The kid legends, on the other hand, received awards created from their stamped palms.
Speaking about the Legendary Show, film actor, dramatist, folk singer, poet and playwright, Jimi Solanke, who was among the celebrated personalities, said: “I have never been this rewarded”.
