Reps leadership: We’ll soon resolve our crisis —Dogara

THE SPEAKER of the House of Representatives, Honourable
Yakubu Dogara, on Tuesday, hinted that the crisis rocking
the All Progressives Congress (APC) caucus over the
composition of the leadership positions of the majority will
be resolved soon.
This is coming just as indication emerged that the House
has shifted its resumption date from July 21 till July 28.
The House, it will be recalled, had earlier adjourned till July
21, following the fracas in the House over who should
occupy the four principal officers' positions alloted to APC
as majority party.
Dogara, who spoke on the leadership crisis when the APC
Youth Forum paid him a courtesy call in his office in Abuja,
declared that, "everything is being done in conjunction
with the party; in conjunction with the leaders, to ensure
that by the time we reconvene, all the issues that were there
would have been dealt with."
According to him, "as soon as I leave this meeting, I'm
going for another meeting. I hope we should be able to bury
our differences so that when we resume, announcement will
be made for the remaining four leadership positions in the
House of Representatives."
On his part, APC Youth Forum leader, Ismaila Ahmed, said
they were worried over the continued leadership crisis in the
