Cancellation Of Shopping Centre Contract Elicit Reactions

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state, yesterday, August 19, revoked the concession contract for the redevelopment of the Falomo Shopping Centre, Ikoyi. 

The governor said the cancellation of the concession was necessary because it was  grossly detrimental to the interests of the people of the state.
Some Lagosians however expressed displeasure with the recent change while others have shown support for the governor’s action.
