'I Won't Reconcile With You' - Senator Tells Ex-Wife

The Senator representing Imo West in the National Assembly, Chief Hope Uzodinma, has said that he won’t reconcile with his former wife, Augusta.

According to him, their marriage has already been legally dissolved by the court and the Catholic Church about 17 years ago.

The senator was reacting to the purported alarm raised by his estranged wife, calling on the Catholic Church and all concerned not to recognise his (Uzodinma’s) planned second marriage.

According to Uzodinma, Augusta’s outburst was the work of his political detractors, who having failed on all fronts to drag his name into the mud and have now resorted to using her to achieve their aim.

The Senator called for calm and urged his friends and supporters to disregard the actions of Augusta, saying she was being manipulated.

The lawmaker wondered why his former wife suddenly raised an unnecessary alarm after 17 years, calling on his friends and supporters to disregard the actions of Augusta, as she was being manipulated.
