Fuel In Wells And Boreholes In Ejigbo Area Of Lagos.

A country so blessed with natural resources but with
no honour, truth and justice. The ongoing fuel
scarcity is a pointer to this fact, the money the
government owes the marketers is nothing
compared to what a greedy Nigerian politician can
embezzle yet the whole nation is left to suffer.
As long as there is an iota of justice in this world, I
know all the greedy ones will be served, either
directly or indirectly, by this I mean either on them
or their children no matter the generation.
Visiting Ejigbo a densely populated area in Lagos
state, a community that hosts NNPC and some of
her pipelines. I noticed an evil, a funny one on some
parts of the community. There is scarcity of fuel, yet
they have fuel running through their taps. Their
drinking water is contaminated. This is an area with
many low and middle class earners, who may not be
able to afford an alternate water source. Boreholes
and wells are affected, yet many still drink the water
because they tell themselves they have no choice.
One could only wonder when people who drink such
hydrocarbon will begin to see its effect on their
health.
I use this medium to call on authorities, and any
group that can be of help to come and help. This is a
call on humanity, a call for life.
I'm not a journalist, but I hope my writing can
convince you, but if it doesn't, I believe a cup of cold
water from some part of Ejigbo will do the
convincing.
