Sad News One Okada rider stabs security man to death in Ebute Metta

The police in Lagos State have arrested a commercial
motorcyclist who allegedly stabbed a security man to death
in Ebute Metta area of the state.
The deceased person, identified as Ibukun Oguntona, was
said to be on duty at his duty post where he had a
disagreement with his killer.
Ibukun had reportedly attempted to stop the suspect from
riding his motorcycle into a street very late in the night
when he was killed.
A police source at Denton Police Station where the case was
reported narrated that "the suspect's name is Shehu Sanni
and he was arrested after he fled the scene of the incident to
Okobaba."
He further narrated that "the deceased was a security man at
Abeokuta and he was trying to stop the suspect from
entering the street, when they had serious disagreement."
"It was around 1.30 in the morning and because there was
nobody to separate them, the suspect brought out a knife
and stabbed the suspect in the chest," the police source
added.
The deceased security man died at the Lagos Mainland
General Hospital, where he was rushed to by residents of
Abeokuta Street, who later arrived at the scene.

Kenneth Nwosu, confirmed the incident and added that the
suspect had been transferred to the State Criminal
Investigation Department, Panti.
