JUST IN: Governor Shettima Appoints 21 New Commissioners

Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno state has made some very interesting appointments to his cabinet.

According to reports, Governor Shettima has approved the appointments of 21 commissioners in the state.

This was contained in a statement in a Facebook page of Yusuf Usman Shettima, the Governor’s senior special assistant on Social media.

Alhaji Mohammed Kauji

Dr. Babagana Umara Zulum

Hon. Fanta Baba Shehu

Hon. Ahmed Usman Jaha

In June, Governor Kashim Shettima announced the appointment of Alhaji Usman Shuwa Jidda as Secretary to the State Government (SSG), while Barrister Yakubu Bukar and Alhaji Modu Musa retained their positions as Head of Service (HOS) and Chief of Staff (CoS) respectively.

This was the first appointment embarked upon by the governor after his reelection in the April 11th general elections.
